I was just thinking about some of the things God has given me the opportunity to do over the last 2 and a bit years and am just SO thankful to be on this adventure with Him.

Here is a brief recap again of my time with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) so far: After finishing the discipleship school (DTS) here in Kona (an amazing time of re-establishing my identity in Christ and also getting a big picture on global missions) I was able to help lead a team of young people on a journey into the islands of Vanuatu (west of Fiji)..even to some unreached villages and had the greatest joy of seeing many coming to know Jesus and also getting physically healed.Upon returning to Kona I was involved in the leadership team of another Discipleship training school and ended up going to India and Nepal and working with local ministries there in orphanages, widows homes and communities more impoverished than any I had ever seen before.
This really was a tough trip in many ways: having to be around so much sickness and brokenness, experiencing cross cultural misunderstandings in our team of 15 comprising of 7 different nationalities, a lot of our team also getting ill due to poor sanitation and diet, as well as some intense spiritual warfare..but despite all these things we again saw God working even in our weaknesses as the apostle Paul writes about in 2 Corinthians. Isn't that just so incredible that God uses us …such fragile jars of clay….praise Him for His mercy and grace!
Then last year in September I started doing the School of Bibical Studies (SBS) an excellent inductive Bible study programme for 9 months which ended in July this year to really get rooted and grounded in the Living Word.
I am now still a part of this but in a staff roll at the Kona base, discipling a small groups of students in Bible studies as well as teaching and grading Bible assignments.
I am so thankful about how God has opened doors to make this all possible and thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement and support in helping me be a part of global missions and building God's church through this organisation.
I really do consider you family or 'bruddas (and seestas) from anudda mudda" as they say in pidgeon English (spoke a lot here in the pacific islands) and miss not being able to just pop round and have a good catch up chat. But do also thank the Lord for skype in the absence hereof.
Shalom
Beau
